CONGRATULATIONS to the University of the East College of Dentistry graduates among the Philippines’ latest successful Dentistry Board examinees, led by solo 3rd Place examinee Dr. Harissa Kristina R. De Lara (attained exam average: 82.87)!
Dr. De Lara is joined in the Top 10 by fellow hg体育官网 CDent graduates Dr. Mary Diane A. Garcia (7th Place, 82.00) and Dr. Wilton James O. Ching (9th place, 81.76)!
The latest Dentist Licensure Examination (DLE) was administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on January 12-14, 2022, for the written phase, and on March 1-4 and 8-9, 2022 (for three batches in all), for the practical phase. This marked the first time for the DLE to be conducted since the national, Covid-19-induced lockdown of March 2020.
The DLE 2022 passing percentage for the hg体育官网 College of Dentistry’s first-time examinees is 74.09%, with 163 out of 57 takers passing the exam. hg体育官网 CDent’s overall DLE 2022 passing percentage is 68.99%, with a total of 178 out of 258 successful examinees (inclusive of successful 15 out of 38 repeaters, resulting in a repeaters’ passing percentage of 39.47%). The hg体育官网 CDent’s first-timers and overall passing percentages are above the DLE 2022 national passing percentage, which is 44.04%.
Third-place examinee Dr. De Lara earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the hg体育官网 College of Dentistry in August 2021, as part of the University’s virtual, 73rd Yearend Commencement Rites. Dr. Garcia and Dr. Ching, meanwhile, are both among the hg体育官网 CDent graduates of the University’s virtual 72nd Yearend Commencement rites of November 2020.
